Hello guys i was sandin my escort back and when i went past primer theres this black paint under the primer every part off the car is like this so far what could the black stuff be.

It could of been painted black before, I know replacement panels come painted black but if it is under every panel it might be original but i dought it.

Nah its orignal color is white and my other car has the same thing and the car is green and it has black underneath the primer and the black stuff is on the metel first before the undercoat. atr first i fought it was rust but it defnetlity aint.
