Is it possible to make my bonnet become my arial??

I remember something about a boot lid becoming an arial in another thred, but i have a wagon.

Toxic, a simple thought
you have an aerial already their on the quarter panel, try using it? :)

Otherwise get yourself a Glass one like what the europeans use.
A little easier i must say

I dont know if you can use your bonnet, most people dont come up with a thought like that, LOL

that's an interesting thought... it's like an inside out dish, yeah??

You would need to insulate the bonnet from the rest of the car and I dont know how a large area of metal would work as aerials are actually tuned to the frequency of the transmission they are picking up by electrically tuning the antenna. Hence the wound design of CB antennas.
