bonnet issue: part II

will an el grille fit any EL bonnet?

im thinking to make things half decent, ill get a carbra for my car. im just sussing out ways to take things slow in fixing things!

um, so you mean put an EL mont front onto a car and keep the standard EL bonnet?

If so - wont work.

Also, EL XR is actually an EF Gli bonnet. Apart from the Fairmont, Fairlane and XR, all other EL bonnets are the same. 99% sure they are anyway.

Nope, monty bonnet is different to Gli/Futura bonnet. XR bonnet is EF bonnet, as back2thefutura said.

You can use an EF/EL monty bonnet, not sure on Fairlane/LTD bonnets, they might be longer.

back2thefutura: he has a fairmont he just wants any hood from j'r's and thats all now he's gonna try sticking a el monty grille on it afik at least

EF/EL mont and NF-NL / DF-DL all use the same front panels, guards, lights etc etc

I know of a wrecker here in sydney that'll probably have all the bits your after...not sure if that'll help you out but.

race tape wont fix it, the fix i want is to have a bonnet that isnt pushed up
