I just put in my new sub and i cant get the boot to stop rattling. what can i do?
please help it sounds shithouse.

I don't know if this would be of much help, but yesterday what I did was get some old rags and glue them onto where the boot closes on my father's KB Laser hatch. I haven't been in it since, but I assume the chronic boot rattle should be gone now, and this time the 'mod' is not visible from the outside - unlike the time when I closed the hatch on top of a towel. hehe

Whats with them ILS?

My family used to own one, a mustard colour with a bog and rust coloured pearl through it....It really was a good car though, not exactly fast but cheap as shit to run, reliable and apparently handled alright (although the old man did some work on it)

Im looking for one atm to use as a runabout!!! :) Mind you, Im datto mad. I also got a Stanza sitting in the shed, thats getting a blown 2.4L Navara motor....hoping to run 12's! Thats if the motor fits, havent got around to dropping it in the bay as yet.....if not.....SR20 turbo....hehe

Wow a modified Stanza. Well Sp33dy was telling me that there was a modified 200B at "EasterNats" with a 3.0 litre six - the same one as in his Skyline. I thought that the resulting car should be called the 300B. (the 200B with 100 more mistakes. hehe)

As for the 120Y badge, it was taken from a dumped white coupe in shocking condition. The point being made is that the KB is the 120Y of the '80s - ultra reliable, economical, tinny, etc.

Jus put some silicon inbetween the frame of the bootlid and the bootlid itself. Guaranteed to work!
