hey guys,

thinkin about doing my boot setup in my car differently once again in my EF, what im thinking about doing now is, removing the carpet on the boots floor and making a mdf fake floor with a cut out for my spare tyre with a hatch that will lift up so i can get my spare tyre out if need be. I'll be carpeting this, then comes the problem of where to put 2 15inch subwoofers.. they need atleast 1cu foot of air space each..

okay, so hopefully you's get the drift, sounds like its going to be a hard little task, im not really aiming for big bass out of the box, im rather aiming for nice neat looking boot, and being able to remove my spare tyre in case of need and not having to lift out that huge c*nt of a box ive got in there at the moment..
i'll be attempting this little project this weekend and ill keep posting pics of it up for you's.. if anyone has a better idea and or a good place to mount the amps rather than the back seat, please let me know, your comments are more than welcome. :)

You can make mdf panels on either side of the boot and mount the amps to that...

Hmm looks like your gunna be finished your install before mine, and I started 6 weeks ago!

the mdf panels on the side of the boot sound like a good idea.. any other ideas? thanks for the advice on the box measurments BAV*UTE.. but i like tight boxs

lol jk, i can't remember the sizes of the top of my head from the last box i made.. so 1 cu foot sounded right at the time.

The pic you drew, just remember one thing; the back seats go up on an angle, and if you make the box follow the seat on an angle, there's some extra box area there.
