hey guys,
i recently purchased a Autotechnica boss kit and when i put it on it had a lot of play left around the collumn. i as thinking about putting a 3/8 washer behind the nut to stop the play. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of trouble and what they did to remidy this??

You could try a SAAS boss kit, They have the same mounting holes for the wheel. I have a wood autotechnica wheel and the boss kit I got for it wouldnt cancel the blinkers. After I got a SAAS one I had no problems with the blinkers but I had to file away about 2mm of the skirt at the bottom of the boss as it contacted the steering column when the nut was tightened up properly.

SAAS Boss Kits don't fit momo steering wheels.... found out the hard way!

Autotechnica fit SAAS and Momo, and yeah i had to put an extra nut in my boss for it to fit nicely on my EB

yeah i know i just have to wait for the hardware to open. then i can get a washer.....all i want is a 3/8 washer and i dont have one....however i have a lot of 5/16 if anyone is needing them!!

What colour was the Autotechnica box? and while im asking that question, what was the colour of the saas box?

humm the autoteck one was in a red box...i works with a 3/8 washer...no probs now

the saas one was a white box.....momo wheels don't align on them.
