biggrin bottom of windscreen thingy

sorry about the name but i couldnt think of a better one! lol.
well what i want to do is replace my faded EA plastic thing that goes all the way across the bottom of the windscreen. its the thing that covers up the wipers etc. i want to replace it with the more streamline ED one and colour code it. BUT WILL IT FIT? has anyone done it?
thanks.

ps. also i was thinking there could be a thread which says all the things which you can swap from model to model etc. eg EL handles will fit on EA. just a thought.

Cowl, its called a COWL, well thats what the area in front of the windscreen is called.

Re: bottom of windscreen thingy

I got an ED and also want to colour code it. I am unsure if it will look good or not!! Help!

PS: Like the idea of "what will fit from an EL -> EA" etc.

Re: bottom of windscreen thingy

Ea And Eb1 Had The Chunky Cowl
Eb11 And Ed Had The Hidden Cowl
I Have An Eb1 And Painted Mine In Black Mica And I Think It Looks Better Than The Eb11 And Ed Ones
If You Wanna Change To Eb11 You Have To Get The New Cowl And The Stainless Strips That Run Up Side Of The Windscreen
