hello ppl,
i have just recently aquired a ef ghia,
the problem is with the oil pressure gauge,
with car and ignition off it is reading no pressure (0) but
with the ignition on but motor off the gauge
will read full oil pressure (7) with the warning light on

but when i start the motor the guage will remain on 7
and the pressure light will go off

is this normal?shouldn't the gauge be moving or something?

the dealership where i brought the car is telling me this is normal

is it ?

mine has done that ever since i bought it 1.5yrs ago, every now and then i will drop down a notch and then slowly go back up. Dont worry about it.
