I am currently in the process of building a 5.0litre fuel injected 5 speed 1970 Capri. I have also purchased a 347 stroker crank and a Ford motor sport Z303 cam. The cam I picked up because it was cheap at the time and it was unused.

What other engine goodies should I be looking at for this engine combination if am to use the Z303 cam. Ie heads, intake, throttle bodie size. At this stage I plan to use a 70mm throttle body, GT40 upper and lower intake (when I find one that doesn't cost he earth) with 24lb injectors.

Any ideas would be appriciated as the plan was to have only a fairly stock motor say except for balancing and roller rockers.

I suggest Twisted wedge inlet,with that 347.Not too stock .What heads,you need some porting to bring e7's up to scratch they flo 151 in and 116 exh..std..Love those early Capri's..

I think I would like to get a hold of the tickford inlet manifold from the new 5.6l. that would look great under the bonet of the Capri. Also it would be nice to have the whole dame engine as well.

Save me the effort.
