From my list, code 67 is a Neutral switch Fault?

Its also an Air Con clutch signal fault. Usually comes up when you have the trans in gear or the air con on while testing. Any stalling symtoms as well? If so check idle switch control.

Yes; you'll have to wire it to fool the ECU.

Do you know if it wants the compressor wire or the block that hooks the gas lines to the radiator in the heater box, not sure what the block is. or even both maybe?

Pinn 347 on the ECU is connected to the blue wire between the Low Pressure cutout on the firewall and High Temp cutout in the A/C clutch assembly on the EA1; what model do you have? I think if you connect the 347 to earth it should work and the cutouts open a line to earth via the clutch.

the ECU and wiring harness wasn't from a high series (Ghia, Fairmont, Fairlane or LTD with climate control was it?
