Re: A/c not working

I answered in another post, I looked at the diagram offered by AutoZone. Of course, with the limited picture, I might be identifying the wrong slot.

Re: A/c not working

Ok so that wire that's missing could be the reason why the ac on ?? R is it even a good thing to have ac. Like does it suck up a lot of gas?? And would it make the car run harder ? And if I need that wire what is it called ??? How would I cool the car down. Cause it's running way to hot. Even with heat off.

Re: A/c not working

I think you might need someone a little more mechanically savvy to help. If that's the temperature sensor, the wire should lead back to the PCM. The connector is an absolute mystery to me. Without the temperature sensor, it can cause the engine to overheat, among other things.

Re: A/c not working

Temperature is sensed, at about 180 degrees the thermostat opens allowing flow through the radiator and at approx 190-200, the fans kick in.

A 5.4 is a 5.4 Liter, which is around 326 cu in.

Not sure which plug you're talking about. If it was the once with the crimp connector, you're looking for the sensing wire for the temperature sensor.
