I have a slight bend in the pulley on the a/c. It is on the outside edge. Looks like it was hit by something. So the side of the belt rubs. What kind of puller/installer will I need to remove it? I don't think that I can straighten it. So the plan is to replace it. Do new ones come with bearings? I think they are fine but If I am that close to them why not change them just to be sure. Chuck.
What car what model compressor. They can be replaced but it's not easy to do or source parts; an exchange compressor is the norm. The Sanden compressor service manuals here will give you and idea of what you are in for:http://www.sanden.com/support/servicemanual/index.html
