Ordered a Crow stage 2 cam off my mate at autobarn today! He will put the order thru on monday and i should have it in the car by the following week. I am stoked and can't wait to try the baby out!

Im just ordering parts as I live up north but I was looking at 2 cams the dev 3HL or DEV 5, since both cams are the same price im going the dev 5 plus running gear etc....

hey 6pac, why u paying so much for valve springs? and i thuoght the vernier gear was only about $130. I rang ford today and they quoted me $6.75ea for XR6 valve springs, talked to my mate at autobarn, and they had the exact set of H.D crow valve springs in store. And massive bonus, cos they have been in store for over a year, he is going to beat the price ford gave me, Woohoo!. I think i have to get valve spring retainers and colletts as well tho cos they are a double spring.
Falkeen, i will probably pay to get it fitted as i'm not sure i could do the valve springs myself, so might aswell get someone to put the cam in when they do the springs. 6pac, that dev 5 cam should go bloody hard mate, prob beat the shite outta me too, and here i was thinking i would be cruising in a tough car with the crow cam. Ha you just put me to shame lol.

Hey Crodarian,

In regards to the Stage 2 Crow Cam, does it come with the HD valve springs or are they extra ??

Also is there anything else that you have to do to the ECU ??, or is it just a matter of fitting the Cam and away you go !!!!
