Before i explain the problem, ive just gotta appologyse for my lack of technical knowledge, im a girl, and thats my excuse!

Basically, the problem is my door locks. The only way i can actually lock my car is to have a key in both doors turned simultaneously. When im sat in my car, the only way to lock myself in is to actually stretch out and press both door thingys in at the same times. When i attempt to lock my car, it imediately unlocks itself. It seems as though the locks are out of sync. I tried to get booked in with several garages, but there booked up till week after next! One mechanic said it was something to do with modules. Does anyone have any idea on how much this is going to cost me to get fixed or what is actually wrong with it? Im really stuck without my car!
