Hey y'all im very new to this but im starting to get desperate I have a 94 escort with a huge problem... it won't start I've replaced the starter because I've had to tap the solenoid a few times already but that fix didn't work I checked the relay and it tested fine so im stumped can anyone give me a new direction to look

Is the engine not turning over with the replaced starter ? Are you getting power to starter ?

Im not sure I tested the relay yesterday and it tested just fine so I just assumed it was but ill go check real quick

Did you test the other starter with a battery before you fitted it ?

Ok so I still haven't found the issue i've just wired a push button to the starter as a temp fix but I would still like to find the problem so if anyone has ideas on what it could be please let me know because I don't want to have the button in for long
