BRING_BACK_XF Last of the Good Ones Join Date: May 2002 Location: Melbourne Posts: 172	Carbon Fibre / Glass Fibre Composite Course Anyone in Melbourne interested in learning how to make your own carbon fibre or glass fibre composite parts? There is a short course at RMIT which is aimed at car enthusiasts, mainly those making panels for club cars etc. My father-in-law did this course and made his own panels for a Lotus Super Seven. You could also make induction hardware and even custom engine covers. It is held at the Department of Aerospace Engineering in Fishermans Bend (near Port Melbourne). If you would like more information contact the Department. I'm not sure how often they run. The guy that runs them is Terry.
