Hey,

What are you comments about CFI engines in EA's.
WHat are the best mods to do to them..... and dont say Conversion to MPI seriously... as i dont see the chance of this happening.
I have got a 2 and a half inch exhust on it...what brand i dont have a clue, and dont know where to find it..

I am planning on extractors... its already a 5 speed manual.
I just want more from it..... its got a 2.77 diff not sure if its LSD or not, but i would like a 3.08 so if anyone can help me out..

Im on a tight budget too...

I am intrested in these XG cold air intake mods....

So i hear it is very underated car, and there is really hardly any difference between MPI and CFI... so whats the go?

Help me out plz

Ummm I know its not what you wanted to hear, but what are your reasons for avoiding a mpi conversion ? As the e-series guys said, it seems to be the best bang for buck that you can do....

You should be able to look at the tag on the diff, and it will say if its a LSD. My guess would be on a cfi EA it will be a single spinner (non lsd). Your looking at a couple of hundred to change diff's I expect (especially if you get the work done by someone else).

Hmmm, extractors will cost more than a MPFI conversion.
MPFI will also give more improvement than extractors.
It's a no brainer as far as I'm concerened.

The CFI manifold, I think you'll find, will not allow enough air through the motor to make extractors/cam anything like as effective as the MPFI setup would be.

As for hearing there is hardly any difference between CFI and MPFI.....MPFI will give you at least 10rwkw all by itself! And it's really not hard, simply bolt off, bolt on, and modify 1 wire, in the manual version.
