Hi guys,
I need to change the front brake pads on my XF. I have no idea whether the car has PBR or Girlock calipers on the front. Is there a way to find out before I jack up the car and pull out the old ones?
Thanks for the help guys. I was lucky I had my old man's van to go to the parts shop and get the right ones (Girlock DB1075 Performax). Piece of piss to changed them. The shoes on the back on the other hand...
jack the front take the wheel off
they are 2 bolts which hold your coupler to the hub undo these bolts and take out old parts .
to re fit depress your coupler piston by undo ing the bleeding nipple as the piston will depressed refit the couple to your hub tigthen nipple
