Hey guys, my charging system is f@cking up again.. The charge light on the dash is semi glowing with the ignition off... last time this happened, my alternator failed after a few weeks... whats causing this?? any ideas?

I'm having problems with my EF the battery was running flat. We went a bought a new one thinking that the battery light would go off, and the new battery didn't make the light go off and ran the new battery flat. So it is not charging, would it be the alternator or regulator. Any idea of price for new parts?

Boys, time to fork out for a new/rebuilt alternator. If you've got a voltmeter you can check what's happening. There have been previous posts here or the garage on alternators with all the info you need.
