Does anyone who has check engine light pop on when you're pressing the gas.. ?? i kept having check engine light popping on.. when i was driving or crusing the road.. if i want to make the truck to go fast little more i press the gas pedal all of sudden the check light engine came on..
i tried to do what my friend told me.. disconnect the battery have the wires postive and neg touch together for couple minutes then hook it up back to the battery.. it went away.. then couple thousand miles.. even hundred miles later it pop on again.. does anyone have problem ?? my other friend say it could be oxgen sensor.. if it is so.. where can i locate it ??

You need to get the computer read so you can see what it says. It is impossible to guess what it could be as there are lots of things that could cause it

Hey..

thanks for helping out with computer.. i called few other place for the computer hooking up .. cost approx 80 to 90 bucks per hours just to diagoned the problem.. so i had one brilliant idea ! drove my truck to the BOCES place.. im sure some of you have heard of it.. drove them and they had the computer up to date.. all the information so they hooked it up and the computer diagnoed the oxgen sensor is shot off the roof bad ratio with gas and air.. so they replaced it with bosch oxgen sensors. and its bye bye check engine light !!!!!!!!!!!

so anyone who is on tight budget.. go to boces !!!!!!

yep.. i hope i can help out the other who is really on tight budget...

the autozone and peps boy .. all of them are rip off.. i couldnt believe myself when i ask them just to check it out and ill fix the problem.. and. they say eventhough it take 5 minutes to find the problem.. still charge full hour..

nah nah for me..

cuz got a little baby girl on the way which is due in couple weeks.. approx 3 to 4 weeks..

so gotta save the money and bye bye toys for me.. lol

You do know that you can go to AutoZone and they will scan it for free. Just so you know.

really ? the guy i spoke to say he would have to charge me ! bummer ! well at least its over and got it fixed !!!
