chips (not the edible ones)

Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket chips?
I'm leaning toward the Chiptorque HP3/4 cam/chip kit which is a bit over a grand and I'd like to know beforehand that it had some
effect. What about chips on otherwise unmodified engines?
Fueltronics make some pretty big claims for some of their products.

Hey rextus.... have a yarn to Lukey039 - He has some experience with Chiptorque chips. Im working towards the Hp3 kit also expect u will find its cheaper to install the cam yerself and just pay for the chip and custom tuning..
