The ed ghia has only done 85k km but since ive flushed every single fluid and changed all the filters, i wanna take out the injectors and get them ultrasonicly cleaned.
I dont want to use that injector cleaner crap in the tank because I assume it will loosen up all the crap in the fuel system and it wont clean the injectors.
It reccomended that injectors be ultrasonically cleaned every 80,000kms. Bottles of injector dont work, they're just an additive which helps gum them up even more.
Cost is about $20-$30 per injector from memory. If you're in melbourne i can recommend a good place for you.
While on the topic of injectors - I use LPG more than ULP - for obvious reasons, and I'm guessing my injectors get a little bit dried out because of this ? My car has done nearly 160K so cleaning the injectors would probably be a good idea - where was the place in Melbourne that you can recommend ?

Might be worth asking the lads at Herrod Motorsport.

The place is B&M Fuel Systems, they know their stuff and wont d**K you around. Speak to Paul and say Jason from RB Auto sent you.

Nah mate, mines not blown. The damn moths in my wallet keep eating my money!!!
hehe - I hear ya mate ! Still, at least you have the opportunity to start with your 8 and work it if you wanted to, unlike me I have a 6, which I want to work pretty full on (all in due time) however, I just feel starting with a 6 is already a compromise :(. OK, I'm finished rambling - just had to say, that I love your ride !!
