Clearing codes

When the cel has been reset, what are the drive cycles needed to pass emissions test? does it go by miles driven? Or what? Thanks guys!!

It would really help to know what year/model/engine you're talking about. A signature is a good way to ensure it's always visible.

Hmmm, as much as I can fuss about someone not giving much info sometimes, I should have done the same.
It's my daughters vehicle, guessing 2000-2002 Merc. Mountaineer W/ 5.0
