I have a ef2 fairmont and I was just wondering about accessing the codes I know where to get it but my problem is when I use a lED light to acces the codes the alligator clips touch the other connections and caused a short is there a trick to retrive the codes useing the led light to access it
You need to get hold of some tiny spade fittings. The smallest ones I have found are from Tandy used for telephone plugs, they are only a couple of mm wide and fit on to the connector.
