I'm thinking of purchasing a Cold Air Induction kit for my 2001 AUII XR6 HP. Are they worth the money in performance and economy gain that is claimed by them? I've been quoted up to a 10kw gain but find that very hard to believe.

At this stage my car is standard with no mods. It has only 3000kms on the clock so I don't want to modify the car a great deal. I would like to get the best out of the car and was thinking of air induction as a start. Is it worth the $350 for the kit or not?

nup, go get yourself a t series one from ford.... 10kw is pulling on it a little hard me thinks....
