Continuous Spark from Coil

I just had RACQ out to look at my car (EA CFI 3.9L) - its been playing up all week and now won't start at all.

Just cranking but not firing. Sounded like a TFI problem or dizzy.

Anyways the problem was that it was throwing a continuous spark with only the KOEO. The RACQ guy said he had never seen it before.

Anyway I'm gonna let em tow it and fix it and I'll probably, depending on exactly what they find out, get em to put in a whole new dizzy which should fix all problems in that area. Probably cost around $300.

So thats my exciting weekend.

So far my car in the last week has had a new alternator ($200, old one was stuffed), second hand fuel pump ($50 old one was full of dirt and cutting and out), new fan and p/s belts ($20 for both), new p/s idler pulley ($33) and new fuel pump relay ($90!).

I need new number plates - SHTBOX or MNYPIT - LOL...
