crank pulley?

i have a 94 topaz and it has started making a rattling noise. the noise goes away if you take the belt off. we have changed the idler, and tension pulleys, and the alternator. just wondering if anybody knows if this might be the crank pulley and if so how do i change it. Help!

Re: crank pulley?

Grab the pulley and see if it secure on the crankshaft, apart from being loose it shouldn't make any noise, if it is loose you may have a damaged woodruff key or key slot(without knowing how it is fitted), or the securing bolt is loose.
If it is the crankshaft pulley making the noise it would probably make it if the belt was fitted or not as it is always turning
