Crossflow Ignition

Ok, I went down to a parts store to hunt down a new coil. I had an MSD unit in mind, the type with the boost reference, for when I go twin turbo. However, I got a rude shock when told they'd cost $everal Hundred$, since theyre not all that common here. What really yanked my chain was the fact that theyre cheap as chips in the US.

But back to the point, the electronic ignition coil in my XE EFi (standard carby crossflow as far as tech is concerned) is giving a really weak spark while cranking over the engine. Fuel is good, can smell either type of fuel (still hard to start up on either LPG or fuel) out the exhaust pipe. Rockers move a good amount, and the car still goes hard when it actually gets started. New plugs, leads, etc etc. Its the coil :)

Can anyone reccomend a good, HIGH VOLTAGE coil, that will give a keen spark under boosted conditions, and also burn LPG reasoably well, for under $100?

Have you thought of getting one from a VL Turbo or something else Turbo?
