Custom Manifold vs EF/EL manifold

Hey all question for those in the know.
I know a lot people here have a bit of race knowledge and I was wondering what you think.
Do you think a custom made inlet manifold would be more useful and easier to impliment than the duel runner EF manifold?
I've been looking around the forums collecting info for my little project and it looks like a big stuff around to get the manifold duel runners to work correctly.
What do you think?

Yep, a custom manifold will work better, provided its made right. You get to play around with all sorts of stuff when you go custom, pipe diameter, and more importantly, plenum size, and throttle body too.

Im more interested in plenum sizing, but then again im going turbo....but no doubt a custom job would benefit a NA donk too.....just dunno if the price would justify the gain.
