hi just wondering if n e one could help out my car (ea s pack 3 speed) seems to be stalling a hell of a lot... not just in the cold in the morning but at lunch breaks in the day when it is warm... i have just recently had reco fuel injectors put in....(the car was stalling before they were done)...


just wondering if n e could give me some information on what to do...

some mates have said to get it dino-tuned !?!?

at being 18 it is quite expensive... (still at school)
so n e thoughts would be greatly appreciated

it could be one of many things start with fuel filter check fuel regulater i cant remember how many mils a second but someone will no that is fuel going into your rail check your air filter or would it be that you disconnect your battery alot after that take it in and see if any codes come up on your self diagnostic system

Not sure if I've got the term right, but the "idle speed sensor" could be playing up.

I had a stalling prob that bugged the snot outta me and the wife, she didnt like driving it cos it would cut out when ever it felt like it, even when overtaking with your foot flat down. Used to give me the shits!
Turned out to be the fuel pump relay. You will find this nasty little sucker under the bank of four relays behind the battery. There are two down there and one is full of electronics so dont mix them up, only pull one out at a time!
I wriggled the plugs while the car was running and behold it would stop! You shoulda heard me hollerin, I was so glad to FIND THE LITTLE PRICK OF A THING
The only other thing that would cause it would be the idle speed solenoid tho it would only affect it as you take your foot of at low speed.

is it a cfi or mpefi setup, both have injectors. Both can suffer from the same problem but with different problem solving proceedures....

yeap ive had the same problem....since ive had my ea..bout 5 months..ive had the fuel pump replaced which seem to fic it...i also ran it on optimax for a while and uses some injector cleaners which seem to work ok

but im with you on a uni budget these things aren't good..damn by the timne im through with this car it will be brand new ;-)
