Are there any tricks to takin the front badge off of my EA or does it just pop off with no damage to the bonnet?

They are stuck on with double sided tape... I took the badge off the back of my wagon and i can tell you that its a pain in the ass! The badge came off ok but left half the sticky shit still on the paint work. It took 1/2 hour of rubbin with metho to get all the black sticky stuff off! Im told that if you heat it somehow, it comes off easier..

If you want to properly debadge the front of an EA, take an EB Bonnet, and an EA grill... The EB has the badge in the Grill, hence, no badge on the bonnet... The EA has the badge on the bonnet... so taking the EB Bonnet, and EA grill leaves the front end Badgeless... BASS-CRAZY & THEGRK2000 have done this, anybody else?

my bonnet is an ea bonnet, i remove my badge but if you notice on the ea bonnet the badge goes into the bonnet. so you have to bog the bonnet and paint it, but what acid said is eazy..,.

The EB ford badge can be removed with a single screw..
It does have a single plastic support bracket but you can cut this out quite simply. I prefer not to remove the ford emblem coz you'll notice the similarity between falcons and commies too much and especially if you have clear front indicators!

I recently removed my 3.9 MPI side badges. The only advice I can give is to go very slowly with removing the sticky stuff. Even then, I have a slight darkened mark around where the badges used to be which no amount of rubbing will get rid of, but it looks better than it used to.

yeah my badge is removed too.. it was bogged up when i had a front end accident in it.. done professionally so u cant ell one bit, although i took the badges off the rear garnish and u can tell a little where the bog marks are casue i did it! hehe hardly noticible though...

yeah I removed mine and bogged it up b4 the car was resprayed. Looks trick without the badge....and the EA grille is the best from the EA-D series I reckon. Especially when u mesh it like Bass-Crazy. And seen some people with neons behind there...nightrider style hehe.
