Hi guys looking at my au roof today just happend to get in and i can see bloody crows feet starting under the paint it hasnt surfaced yet but its definatly the beggining its just on the roof above drivers door around a 50c peice size. Now im not very happy as i have owned the car now for only 3 weeks and this just has to kill my heart. I rang up ford (Rex Gorell) in geelong and he told we to bring it down to have a look. What im wondering is am i bloody covered being out of the 3 year warranty but im sure i have a 5 year panel warranty. Im unsure and just buying my car i dont really want to fork out cash to fix this anyways this shouldnt be bloddy happening if any1 is wondering the colour is Galaxy Blue.
Not a happy camper and1 reassure me on this one of help me out i dunno im pretty pissed off atm.
I dont like the sounds of that and im assuming that the car has had a repair done to it somewhere in its life. You wouldnt be able to get some pictures of the car? Another thing just make sure the car has all the badges around the body and also make sure all the paint work blends in, I personally think that the car could have been in an accident and not fixed up properly.
The roof looks original but then again who knows. Its only got 88,000 on it it looks like factory job and i know someone with a el fairmont that has done simal on the boot. Im pretty damn sure the paint original but how can i tell.
Cars not under cover at night but its undercover all day at work. Before i went to pick up teh car up he got the front bumper and bonnet resprayed becuase of a few stone chips thats the only sray work that been done i belive the colour matches pretty damn good and looking at the rest of the roof its a good quality paint job looka like its been there for a while and u can only see it in certain light. Its definatly right under all the paint hasnt fully even come thru the blue yet or clear yet. But it will.

Remeber my 3 years has expired but theres a 5 year Panel.
Id say they will fix it, but they can actually test the paint before they will. I had a small problem with the paint on one of the doors on the EL, they tested it and someone has splashed paint stripper on it.
