Hello guys my mates EA got dented preety bad on the rear near the fuel cap. we beated out the dents usin dollys and got it stright as we could but it still has lil crinkles. we were gonna slap a skin of bog over it but his other mate said we should zinc coat the baremetel to stop rust from comin from behind the bog . is that ok coz i thought the bog would lift off after awhile. and how can we stop rust from comin from behind the bog???

Rust converter, just paint it with that, then give it a sand back then bog it up, if you paint it right and clear coat and seal it properly it will wont absorb water and lift off, try use a plastic based bog with fibreglass in it, less likely to absorb water.

Was there rust there to start off with if not just sand the paint off with a coarse sandind disc and bogg it up.

I'm with cogo on this, if the metal is clean then it doesn't need anything on it before the bog.

yer ive taken all the surface rust off but would it still rust from behind the bog.
