I First started with doing a Duraspark Upgrade. After a few adjustments and 180degrees out. 3 Distributors later (thanks Kragen for good quality.)

Starts great
Revs OK not great, takes a while to reach hight RPM
POPs sputters backfires through the carb.
Misses at high rpm
No power on test drive.
So i put the points back in.. and same thing.... The engine ran well before i started everything.

So yes i have been cranking the shit out of the thing with the wrong timing for awhile. So now my

Ingnition is all good
Firing order is correct
Timing is 10 BTDC
Compression test 125lb. on all

Any ideas??

Sounds like the timings still out or check the leads are in the right order.Just my 2 cents.
