difference between a EF XR6 and EF GLI
hey guys...

what is the difference between a 1994 EF XR6 and EF GLI engine and drive train... i mean diff ratio, engine KW all that sort of stuff...

any help would be great...

Diff in xr6 is 3.45LSD
Engine has slightly better head and about 164 kws, Gli is 157.
Computer is slightly more agressive aswell.
Gearbox was supposedly a bit stronger

Thats all i can think of atm

oh and GLi has a 3.08(open) diff. Fairmont 3.23(LSD)

Gearbox was the same strength. Certainly the EB/ED manuals had a taller fifth gear, I think the EF is the same.

Basically, yeah. They are rated to a higher top speed as well, but that might just have been the no limiter thing.

Thanx for all your help guys... i was looking at a XR6 Mock... the dude tryed selling it as a XR6 and i ****ed him up it was still a steal at $3000.00.. still thinkin about it..see what happends
