I have an AU2 XR6. When going over small 'bumps' (anything that causes a sharp, short movement not unlike corrigations) in the road I get a noise from the drivers door that sounds like the rubber seals rubbing. Is there a away to fix this as it's driving me crazy. Are there any differences between the series 2 & 3 seals ie is s3 thicker?

Any help would be appreciated.

Two schools of thought: either whack on some armourall so as it the seals slip.

Wipe all the greasy stuff off so as they grip together and dont move maybe with just dishwashing detergeant & water?

Other than that me dont know?

Had the same problem with the AuI Fairmont. The service guys adjusted the door so it closed tighter. A little more effort to close the door but no noise.
