ok this one has me stumped the hex bolt for the grearbox drain plug i cant find an allen key to fit it metric or otherwise wasted about an hour trying to find the right one and no luck whats with that?????

From memory i remember getting it off, forget what size, but it bent the hex key to buggery

I just changed the oil in my T5. I used a 3/8 hex key and it fitted perfectly. Are you using good tools or cheapies? Sometimes you will find that cheap tools aren't the size they say they are.

snap on aint cheap tools but yeah ill try 3/8 again maybe i didnt clean the plug enough thanks

yeah a long 3/8 hex is the way to go
