I have 90 ea ford fitted with a recon ef motor,ef manafold, ea mpi wiring loom,el thero fans,high presure pump,mpi computer, if i have the cfi on it runs well but change it to mpi it runs rough and no power can any one give me some info to what might be wrong I know if you put this setup in a ed it works as i know of been done.

umm, you may need extra wiring for the EF Manifold, and i think you would better off running the EF computer, but then you run into smartlock issues...

i know this maybe money that you dont want to spend, but you could always go back to an ED manifold(which i am aware you dont currently have), personally thats what i would prefer. i plan to purchase an AU engine and get some work done to it, and i will keep my existing inlet manifold...

yes it looks like i will have to go back cfi, as i have only one belt on it , i will have to do a bit of thinking and reseach before the next step.
