eb climate control probs

I'm having problems with my climate control. Its only an intermittent problem, but after I've been driving for a little while the climate control starts acting like its set to 32 degrees, ie full heat full fan. It stays like this no matter what temperature I have it to unless its on 16 degrees, ie full cold. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

there are possibly two faults either the control unit is faulty or the blend door motor is faulty.
first test the control unit which also resets it. with key turned on and a/c off press the off and lower right hand button(under lower flap) at the same time this should turn the hole display on, after a short time the control unit will either go to off or show a code E2 is the code for the blend door motor if this is faulty the dash will need to be removed. if it just shows off retrie system again as the test also resets control and may now be ok
