I was wondering if you could put and EB/D ignition barrel and door locks in an EA without smartlock, or do you need the smartlock to be able to use them?

Yes you can do this although i think that you will need an ignition assembly off of a EAII/EBI that doesnt have the smartlock but does have the later type keys.

you can buy a complete set of locks for about $120-$130 new and all of them fit straight in exccept th ignition which needs the rest of the ignition lock.
