hey all

anyone know how much a new radiator is for an EB ll i think mine is f*@ked??? i have a pic but it's not of my car but it shows where the crack is anyone know if this can be fixed without replacing the hole radiator.The crack is on the top radiator hose next to the air box.

and another question ,will the window wipers of an AU fit on a EB ll

Hmmm.... i think i paid $330 for a new one from ford... You should be able to fix that somehow maybe... have u tried some epoxy?

I just had that tank replaced by Red Devil up here with a later model one. Those ones are apparently prone to cracking, as yours show.

The tank cost $150. The labour for replacing that and lancing the radiator was $45. New Coolant that is apparently really good cost $50 for the 5 litres, but they do have a cheaper one.

Yeah that happened to my car when I first got it. The plastic tank isnt very strong and for some reason cracks in that same spot you have. I don't recommend you drive it around until ya get it fixed cos all your water will piss out and you migt blow a head gasket.

Anyways when I went to get mine fixed at natrad they said it would cost a lot to replace the side tank and it's better just spending a little extra for a new radiator. So thats what I did.

However recently I have seen a Ad here on TV for a place that does plastic welding. If I knew there was a place like that I would have got them to fix it. Check out the yellow pages and see if you have a plastic welder nearby.

thanks guys for ya replays it's going in to the rad place tomorrow so hopefully it's that plastic side tank and not the hole thing. with any luck

I had a blocked radiator which im convinced was directly related to a Anti Leak product I use in the water syste,.
Anyhow, I Ended up at Natrad, and picked up a new radiator for under $300.
I also replaced all the water hoses on the car, and gave the whole system a real good clean out.

I have had no cooling problems for the last two years.

nah, you need to change the side tank to get rid of it because the milling sands build up in that, they take it off n replace it. so its the way to go
