Whats the diff ratio on a EB2 falcon GLI should I get a manual conversion or isnt the 4spd auto as bad as they say it is.

Also what would be the cost to respray the car. Its a burgandy colour with not to many scratches
would it be cheaper to get it done in another shade of red so I dont have to do so many coats
Or should I just paint it black like I want to :)
anyways does anyone know the price of this cause I been quoted all different prices from $150 to 3 grand so I sorta got no idea at all
we have the guns and all that stuff already just need the paint if we gonna do this

Cheaper to buy a car with the gearbox you want rather than convert.

Respray - can't imagine what you would get for $150, even $3000 is pretty cheap. It costs more than $150 to turn on the spray booth. I doubt if the local kindergarten could do it in watercolours for $150.

Just remember with paint jobs you get exactly what you pay for....this is one of the things (along with brakes, tyres, suspension etc) you dont go stingy on otherwise you will regret it!!!

3k (comparing to what I was quoted) seemed about right...also depends who you know and stuff.

3 grand will probably get you a quick rub down, fix a couple of little dents and a couple coats of paint. If your going to do it yourself make sure you do your research, respaying a car is not as easy as it seems.

I think 3.08 for GLI.. ??

dont think I will worry about a paint job then if it was gonna cost under a grand then I would get it done cause the paintjob it has now is shit got scratches everywhere but ya cant see them till your real up close its the sorta colour it is I think

ok this is str8 out of the gregory's manual for EB2 and ED falcon, fairlane and LTD. The EB2 diff has a ratio of 3.27:1 and the ED has 3.08:1 or 3.27:1

I am looking at a cheap way of making more noise come out the exaust and a mate suggested to me that I should get rid of the 2 mufflers its got on it and just stay with the redback exaust or polution filter or whatever it is fited up near the motor. Would this be possible to do???
