just wanted to know if anyone has put a blower on an EB XR8. Or am considering trying to buy an EB GT motor. And what is different to the EB GT motor to that of the EB XR8 (is this heads, crank, roller rockers, injection and so on). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate
the differences are...
Heads,manifolds,injectors,maf,throttle body,crank,rods,pistons,cam(i think), has roller rockers & ecu is programmed differently

Im pretty sure there was no major internal work on the EBGT motor as it didnt make the estimated 200Kw, it was more like 185Kw.
It was basically using a 93 Mustang Cobra Motor, which had different Heads, Intake Manifold, Injectors, Rockers and Headers. I cant be 100% sure but I think the Cam was the same.

hay benp why dont you spend the money on getting the GT motor and the blower, after all its worth spending a few grand on such a great car,ps can you send us the adress to my phone of that bloke you told me about thanx buddy

Why bother getting an EBGT motor when you could just buy better heads, intake, exhaust etc for less??? Unless your motor is absolutely rooted.
