EB2 help with lazy pull - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I was just wondering how you get the lazy pully under the air box snorkle off cause I not sure if you have to undo the little bolt with all the groves or the bigger bolt behind that. I have tryed both and used a strong amount of presure and also tryed using shock treatment on the bolts but they just dont seem to come undone is their a special tool ya need to use for getting them off or something. Its making a loud whirling sound so I would say it needs greese or needs to be replaced :(.

You need to take the bracket of which holds the pully on the engine then undo the larger nut. The idle pulley will need a new bearing pressed on.

oh damn so I should be able to get that bracket off without taking anything else off. three bolts by the looks of it and just lift it up and out???

PS remmeber to put master pipe thread sealent on when you put the bthree bolts back or you may get minor oil leaks.

I dont really have to worry now. Was going along the road today and it fell off lol no more noise and also no more air conditioning.
I will fix it closer to summer
