Has anyone upgraded to roller rockers in a V8 and put it on the dyno? What increase would you expect to see? It's just a small frictional reduction isn't it? :shrug:
I don't think any performance would be gained with near std cam ramp rates. Better durability though.BUT going 1:7 ratio would help.Ford went 1:7 ratio when it went roller rockers.
Like [I think] 444 is the valve lift on 1:6 rockers but with 1:7 it's 472 mm. Pluss you loose no bottom end torque...Better valve springs with higher lift duration cams to prevent valve float though....
