ED XR bonnet and grill alignment

Ok this is going to sound crazy, but ive noticed lately that with ED XR's the bonnet over hangs the grill a little (actually a fair bit). Im not sure if late EBs with quad lights have this issue but Ive seen several ED's with it.

When I say grill I mean the headlight assembly as it combines the lights and the grill in one piece.

I know my car has it, I was wondering have other noticed it and why is it like that? Its a pretty big gap IMO.

mate
karl and i noticed it on yours, your car has had a front hit, which is the original reason why i recomended you to reshell it into another car rather than selling your car. then i saw the rust.

ive seen my fare share of ED XR's and no, the bonnet does not over hang over the grille/headlight facia

No mate mines pretty much flush with the front.. All ive done is wound the height adjusters out so that theres a 5-8mm gap to let cold air into the snorkel
