Hey,
I am curious to what the american's have achieved from the 5.6L in the mustangs by modding the EEC VII, and how long will it take for Aussies to learn how to mod the EEC VII?

The PCM is made by a company called 'visteon.' www.visteon.com
It was a joint venture again with motorola. We have the one coded 'blackoak' in the new falcons. Not sure about programing yet, but it can be flashed...

Yep and Visteon also makes the old EECIV & V. Really it's just a spinoff from the Ford company. All EECV's have flash memory, working out how to do it(or rather what to change) is the hard part. Of using a Tweecer is the better option than a reflash.

Ive got a test to do on an ELXR8 with 6DFD. It's possible it's in the same family but without a 6DFC nearby for me to get a bin dump from I won't know until one comes along. If one does come along I'll be sure to make a comparison and let you know.
