Eh dudes,
I was reversing my car today and gave it a little too much stick, it shook really violently, like the gear lever went 10cm in each direction for about 2 seconds. Scared the hell out of me. Anyway, the car ran really badly for a little while, like hunting for idle and blowing black as smoke. I had a look under the hood and to my surprise I found the MAP sensor vacuum hose pulled clean off the nipple!
Anyone who has pulled the hose off knows it takes a little bit to get these hoses off. After seeing this I thought to my self weather such 'shakage' could have done any lasting damage anywhere. This sounds like a 'Yagz question'™ (sorry Yaggy

) but are the transmission mounts strong? Can it come loose?
I sometimes have a ticking noise coming from under the car when it misses sometimes (not lifters

). I thought it was the exhaust manifold heat shield because it's missing a bolt, but on listening carefully it was found to be coming from the trans or exhaust to the right of the box. Any idea what that could be?
Might be a bit of a tech post, but I thought I'd get a better response here. I mean with all the experts and everything
