Yet again I must apologise for posting so much in here, but this has been bugging me for a while now.

The EF speedo and Trip Computer speed display both run off the same wire right? Therefore, if one is out, the other will be too?

I know my speedo is out by about 10-15kms - so 80 n is really 70, 100 really 90 etc. The trip computer suggests the same too.

I've heard about a speedo correction box or something that you can get for when you change your diff ratios, any ideas as to whether this may solve my problem?

If you've changd your diff ratio, you should simply need a new speedo gear to put into your gearbox - This should fix it right up.
If you've got an oddball ratio that wasn't Ford oem to something, you might be in trouble and need something else. But if its 3.45, 3.23, 3.03 and the other lower ones, you should be right. I think the gears range from about $10-$30 (its random).

And yes, both will be getting speed from the speedo transducer / gear...

Is the odometer run off the same transducer? Because I'm a bit worried about running my 4.11:1 gears (2.92 standard!) if I'm clocking up heaps of kilometers on the odo, but they dont make speedo gears for 4.11 rear axles.
