Recentely at Easternats I saw and took a photo of a BA GT in the carpark with an old school shaker. (I'll post a picture of it when I get home coz I'm at school atm). In Ford Performance Magazine this issue (Volume 4 - Edition 2) there is an EL with a shaker (but the bonnets up). I'm getting an EF XR6 in about 12 months and want to do it up, I was thinking of a shaker (functional, of corse) but wanna see what it looks like first.
If anyone has any pictures could you please post them.
Also, if you have any comments on what you think of the shaker on an EF/EL, as on another forum someone said the shaker on the BA GT was a ruining a perfectly good bonnet, others said they loved it.
Can't say I have a picture, but the last car show I went to there was a deep purple EL with a shaker... The hood was down and IMO it looked pretty shmick!
aw come on John_xr6....i reckon it looks absolutley awesome!
sorry, it looks like a mini mountain on that BA, next he will stick a bonnet ornament on top of the shaker. OK its not the worst thing ive seen done to an already nice car.

Im with John_XR6....Shakers on a XR6??? if u want it functional like u sed its going to be a pain in the arse to get it to work, not worth it IMHO... ohh yeh i think it ruins the smooth lines of the newer age cars... not worthy, but suit yourself!

I've been meaning to ask what a functional shaker does? If you could make them look the same colour as the car, that wouldn't be so bad. I'm still undecided on the BA though...
